This no yeast, super simple beer bread will no doubt become your favourite bread to go along side your winter meals! It’s full of flavour, crisp on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. I used Guinness beer which gave a dark rich molasses flavour. I highly recommend using a stout for a richer flavour moving into the cooler winter days.
Beer bread will last 3-4 days stored in a tin or freeze for up to one month.
To freeze beer bread, cool it, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and seal in a freezer bag or airtight container. Thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat in the oven at 350ËšF for approx. 8 mins.Â
